Paul Mazanec

Paul has over 17 years experience in senior and executive management positions within venture-backed startups in the medical device industry.  Over his tenure, he led the successful development of several novel implantable neuromodulation systems across multiple therapies including hearing aids, cochlear implants, restorative sensory perception, and functional stimulation.

Prior to his experience in the medical device industry, Paul spent over 10 years in the consumer electronics industry designing mixed signal application-specific  integrated circuits for consumer devices.

 Paul holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Minnesota State University Mankato  and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota In addition to his work at Avivomed, Paul is an Advisory Board Member for Envoy Medical, a clinical stage medical device company, and an adjunct faculty member of the School of  Engineering at the University of St. Thomas.
