About Obstructive Sleep Apnea

Sleep apnea affects over 1B people worldwide1.

Mild-to-moderate obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is marked by repeated airway collapse during sleep which triggers the brain to wake up and take a breath.

The resulting poor sleep has been linked to hypertension, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and increased mortality2.

CPAP is the most common treatment but up to 50% of patients cannot tolerate it and search for alternative therapies such as neuromodulation3
